AIMETC wins ASSOCHAM award for ‘Excellence in Employability Programs in North’ 

The institute is offering 30+ modules of value added courses, more than 10 multidisciplinary skill development courses, along with course-wise corporate training programs, cross skilling and skill enhancement programs

Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), a premier institute providing quality education through its various programs, won the ‘Excellence in Employability Programs – North’ award at ASSOCHAM’s 15th International Education Leadership and Skill Development Summit 2022.

The theme for this year’s summit was ‘Driving Innovation and Inspiring Minds Through Industry-Academia-Alliance.’ Held at Shangri-La, New Delhi, the summit was attended by numerous vice chancellors, directors, academicians, and business leaders from across the country.

At present, AIMETC is offering more than 30 modules of value added courses, 10+ multidisciplinary skill development courses (MSDC) along with course-wise corporate training programs (CTP), cross skilling programs (CSP) and skill enhancement programs (SEP). These interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary courses are being offered as per the latest guidelines of New Education Policy (NEP 2020). Also, these courses have contributed in overall personality development and growth of students which has resulted in achieving excellent placements and various merit positions in the university. 

Moreover, with these employability enhancement courses, AIMETC has been able to further enhance their placement percentage in 2022 with over 90% of MBA students being selected in various multinational companies.

Thanking Apeejay Education Society and all the faculty members for their continuous support and encouragement, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC said, “This award has recognised the efforts of AIMETC in providing quality education which not only make students employable, but also develops them as ethical and moral citizens. The institute is also putting in immense hard work in designing and implementing multiple value added and employability enhancement modules for students of all courses.”
