Apeejay Dwarka campus pays homage to late Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul on his Punya Tithi

Apeejay Dwarka campus including Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), paid a heartfelt tribute to its beloved Founder Chairman, Dr Syta Paul, on the occasion of his 12th Punya tithi (death anniversary).

A special prayer meeting was organised in the ASM premises and faculty members from both the institutes paid a floral tribute. Soulful bhajans reverberated the hall’s atmosphere, filling it with energy while inspiring each member to fulfill reversed Founder Chairman’s dreams for the Apeejay Education Society.

The meeting commenced with Dr. (Prof) Alka Munjal, Director of ASM sharing inspiring stories from Dr. Stya Paul’s life and work. She added, “On this day, every member of ASM take a pledge to work hard with sincerity, dedication and honesty to achieve the goals of our revered Chairman.”

Prof. Ashok Ogra, Founder Director and Adviser of AIMC also shared some personal anecdotes from his own experience, working under the guidance of Dr. Stya Paul. He said, “Dr. Stya Paul was a remarkable Indian totally devoted to making India self-sufficient in all spheres of the economy, a real knowledge power – for he believed in what Winston Churchill said that the empires of the future will be the empires of the mind. He was truly a renaissance person with interests in art and literature, music, education, etc. apart from being a freedom fighter, industrialist and a social architect.”

Dr. R.P. Hooda, Emeritus Professor with ASM also fondly remembered his work-life experiences with Dr. Stya Paul.

Along with the above-mentioned, Prof. Etinder Pal Singh, Deputy Director of ASM, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC and other faculty and staff members from both the institutes were present during the special meeting.
