A symbol of inner wealth: My ₹10 Yoga Day Coin

Among the many possessions we hold dear, some are not valuable because of their price but because of what they represent. One such cherished possession of mine is a special ₹10 coin issued to commemorate International Yoga Day.

This coin may look like any other to a casual observer, but for me, it holds deeper meaning. Yoga, a timeless gift from India to the world, represents balance, discipline, and harmony — values that I try to integrate into my daily life as an educator and as a human being.

The coin features a simple yet powerful design: a human figure in a yogic posture surrounded by the sun, symbolic of energy, enlightenment, and universal well-being. Every time I hold it, I’m reminded of the inner peace that yoga cultivates and the collective spirit that International Yoga Day celebrates across the globe.

It’s not just a coin; it’s a token of India’s spiritual heritage, and to have it in my hand is to feel connected with that legacy. I often keep it in my wallet or on my desk — as a gentle reminder that true richness lies not in currency, but in calmness, clarity, and connection with oneself.

This ₹10 coin may be small in size, but it carries the weight of a message that the world needs now more than ever — “Yoga for Harmony and Peace.”
