A potential civil servant’s aspirations

Everyone dreams of attaining success and wealth.  I too wish to do so. Although I am currently indecisive about my career path, nevertheless, my commitment remains unwavering. I am determined to work hard, maintain focus, and strive for substantial achievements. I also foster a dream of contributing to my country. Currently, India is facing numerous challenges including poverty, illiteracy, casteism, etc. However, our country was once known for its rich cultural heritage, which has unfortunately eroded over time.

The crime rate has reached an all-time high and various other issues persist. While there may be some flaws in the legislation system that have contributed to such problems,-  we cannot solely hold the government responsible. Rather, each one of us must play a role in our country’s development.

Therefore, I staunchly support the principle of “Each One, Teach One” and have been- tutoring my house help’s child for the past two years. 

As I continue to pursue this, I hope that my dream to become a civil servant matures with time.
