A heartfelt tribute to a patron of creativity and holistic learning

A special assembly to commemorate the 102nd birth anniversary of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul was organised by Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D. The gathering served as a heartfelt tribute to her lasting contribution to art, culture, education, and the values that continue to guide the Apeejay family ethos.

The programme began on a solemn note with a prayer, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a floral tribute to Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul. The opening set the tone for an assembly that was both a remembrance and an understanding of the ideas she stood for. Her life reflected compassion, generosity, the art of giving, and a deep belief in nurturing young minds through creativity.

An inspiring message by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group; Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University; and Chairman, Apeejay Education, was read out during the programme. In the message, she fondly recalled Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul’s passion for the performing and visual arts. She also highlighted how her vision of holistic education, rooted in creativity and compassion, continues to inspire the Apeejay family.

Art as a part of education

The celebration featured soulful musical performances and graceful dance presentations by students. Each performance reflected the idea that art is not separate from education but an important part of shaping sensitive and confident individuals.
