Creativity, colour and joyful learning shaped another engaging phase of the summer camp at Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar, where young campers took part in a series of hands-on activities across Days 3, 4 and 5. The sessions brought together art, technology, movement and group learning.
Colour, craft and creative expression
Day 3 saw campers participate enthusiastically in a vibrant tie-dye activity. The children explored colours, patterns and design ideas as they created their artistic pieces. The activity helped them express themselves through colour while also supporting fine motor skills.
For young learners, such activities matter because they give children the freedom to make choices and see the result of their effort. Each pattern was different, which also helped them understand that creativity does not need to look the same for everyone.

The day also included time in the digital den, where students engaged with interactive educational games and technology-based activities. These sessions encouraged observation, problem-solving and critical thinking. More importantly, the children learnt in a way that felt enjoyable and natural to them.
More colours, origami and movement
Day 4 continued with the cheerful energy of the camp. Young campers worked on Tie and Dye once again, this time transforming plain T-shirts into colourful creations with unique patterns and designs. Their excitement showed how much children enjoy learning when the process feels open and personal.

The children also took part in an origami flower-making activity. As they folded colourful paper into flowers, they worked on concentration, patience, hand control and artistic expression. The day ended with movement and dance activities, keeping the children active, energetic and smiling.
A meaningful close to the week
Day 5 carried forward the same spirit of fun and learning. Campers participated in creative tasks, enjoyed group activities and shared happy moments with their friends.

Across these three days, the camp offered more than recreation. It gave children space to create, think, move, explore and learn together. Such experiences make summer holidays more meaningful, helping young learners build confidence through simple, joyful activities.
