With discipline, sincerity, and an eagerness to excel, the toppers of Class VII-C (Academic Year 2024-25) have made a remarkable leap into Class VIII at Apeejay School, Model Town. Their success is a result of consistent hard work, well-structured study routines, and strong support from both parents and dedicated teachers.
Meet Aarshi Dang, Tanishka Kinder and Vansh Aggarwal, who have scored 96.67%, 89.5% and 86% respectively in their final exams. Speaking about her preparation strategy, Aarshi shared, “Before every exam, my goal is to achieve the best score that I can, for which the best strategy is self-study. I mainly focus on the NCERT text and the notes prepared in classes. For where I lagged, my brother and father were always there to help me, especially in maths and science.”
“Studying daily was rare, but during exams, the whole day went into studies. The only break I used to get was to take a bath or have food. There weren’t any specific hours of studying. I used to study until I finished the syllabus that I had thought for the day,” Aarshi added.
Tanishka went on to explain that, “I used to read the chapters first to understand them. Then, I went through the question answers. This way, it was just like revising the chapter again. And taking a break for an hour by drawing was helpful too. I studied for three hours with concentration from 4 pm to 7 pm. I also didn’t use my mobile phone at all during this time.”
For Vansh, there was no fixed strategy. “I just learn and revise throughout the session because nothing is possible in one day or during the exams. Also, the revision schedule and the periodic assessment help a lot in the preparation. The teachers supported me in all ways. Any doubts and queries are being solved on the spot. Before exams, the tests and viva conducted in the class were helpful.”
Their journey has made their families and mentors immensely proud. Now, with higher goals in sight and a determined spirit, they are ready to embrace greater challenges ahead. These young achievers truly exemplify what focused effort and the right guidance can accomplish.
