Students of Class VI- B from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg have truly set an inspiring example through their dedication, sincerity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Meet Ekansh Saroha, Gunisha Ralhan, Kyansh Jain and Myra Midha who have scored 96%, 95.8%, 93.2% and 93.2% respectively. Their consistent study routines, disciplined approach, and time management skills played a crucial role in their success.
Speaking about his preparation strategy, Ekansh mentions how he maintained the routine, “As soon as the syllabus is uploaded, I begin my preparation. I study one chapter from each subject, then move on to the second chapter of each, and continue this pattern. Once I completed the entire syllabus, I used to test myself both verbally and in written form. When the date sheet is announced, I focus first on the important subjects and prioritise the one scheduled first.”
For Gunisha the key was to always pay attention in classes to make concepts clear. “I have been using this strategy since class I as it helps me to understand the topics in a better way and I don’t have to cram during exams,” she added.
How about they tackle the challenges they faced during the exam time?
“The most challenging part was to learn the complete syllabus in a very short period of time. I managed to do so with the help of my mother as she helped me manage time accordingly so I could perform well,” explained Kyansh.
While Myra’s take was more about maintaining time management. “The most challenging part was completing the paper in the given time. Sometimes, I would get stuck on one question for too long. To manage this, I practice solving questions with a timer.”
Moving on, while Ekansh prefers self-study, Gunisha’s mantra is based on: ESE (Enjoyment, Study, Enjoyment), and Myra’s time table is about following a simple timetable that includes an hour each for homework and revision.
Feeling proud and accomplished, they now look forward to setting new goals and exploring future opportunities with confidence and enthusiasm. As Myra wants to keep making her parents and teachers proud, Ekansh and Kyansh want to become doctors.
