Three days, countless stories and a growing love for reading

Books offer young readers a way to explore new ideas, strengthen their imagination and understand the world from different perspectives. Celebrating this spirit, Apeejay School, Saket, organised Book Fair 2026. The three-day event brought together stories, knowledge and the simple joy of discovering a good book.

The fair began on August 20 with an enthusiastic response from students. They explored a wide collection of books and spent time looking through different titles. For many, it was an opportunity to discover unfamiliar stories and step into new worlds created through words.

Curiosity continues on Day Two

The excitement continued on the second day as students once again immersed themselves in the vibrant world of books. They browsed fascinating titles, discovered new favourites and shared their interest in reading.

Their curiosity and eagerness gave the fair a lively atmosphere. Beyond choosing books, the experience encouraged them to engage with different subjects, ideas and forms of storytelling.

Parents join the final day

The Parent Teacher Meeting added to the atmosphere as students and parents explored the collection together. Their participation made the final day a shared reading experience. It gave families the chance to look at books, discuss preferences and make reading a part of their time together. The fair closed with the message that books continue to inspire readers to discover, imagine and dream.

Young readers discuss a classic

Alongside the fair, a Book Club meeting was organised for students of Classes IV and V. During the lively one-hour session, they explored The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Students exchanged ideas, discussed the story and spoke about their reading experiences. The meeting gave young readers a space to express their thoughts and listen to different viewpoints. Together, the Book Fair and Book Club meeting placed reading at the centre of conversation, curiosity and shared discovery.
