Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar, is more than just an educational institution—it is a vibrant home of learning where academic pursuit becomes a journey of self-growth. This spirit is clearly reflected in the remarkable achievements of the Class 8-C toppers.

Sashmith Kumar, who secured approximately 95%, stood first in the class. Sharing insights into his performance, he said, “I enjoyed all subjects, but Science, Maths, and Hindi were particularly interesting to me. Thanks to my teachers’ guidance, I was able to grasp the concepts effectively.”

His disciplined schedule, especially during exams, reflected his dedication: “I used to get up at 5 am. My study schedule included a morning review of notes and textbook material, a relaxing afternoon break, and evening sessions focused on practice problems and revision of challenging topics.”

He credited the school for his performance, adding, “Comprehensive notes and assignments provided by teachers helped me stay on track. Active participation in class and well-maintained notebooks served as valuable references. I’m committed to building on this momentum and doing even better in the future.”

Manya Goyal, who secured 93.8%, said, “I found Social Studies, Punjabi, and Maths easy, but Science was a bit tough. Normally I study for 3–4 hours, and during exams, 5–6 hours.” She followed a weekly subject plan and made sure to regularly revise difficult topics. “My class incharge always motivated me to study hard,” she said warmly.

Aliya Kaul, who got 93.3%, shared that her favourite subjects were Maths and Science, while Social Studies and English were comparatively tougher. “I used to study in intervals, taking 10 to 15-minute breaks. I would first focus on the difficult topics and leave the easier ones for later,” she said. Expressing her gratitude towards her school, she noted, “My teachers helped a lot in preparing the difficult topics. They supported us in every way possible.”

Together, these three students not only showcase the value of consistent effort but also shine a light on the pivotal role of encouraging teachers and a positive school culture in academic success.
