The heartfelt journey of finding my best friend

It is true that friendship is a selfless bond between two people. In fact, having a friend is akin to being blessed by God. Friendship entails a devoted relationship where both parties receive the same care and priority from each other. In the early stages of life, individuals come into contact with various people and make many friends. However, as time passes, only one or two true friends tend to remain by your side. In the following sections, I would like to share an engaging and heartfelt story about finding my best friend.

Friendship Day is observed to celebrate the togetherness and bond between true friends. And I found my best friend in Himani. Our friendship began on the first day of my accountancy tuition. My childhood friend, Samya, had introduced me to Himani. We instantly clicked while we shared our school memories with each other. Soon, our friendship became a strong pillar of support and a source of laughter in our lives.

Moreover, there are a couple of factors that have strengthened our bond. In the month of October, a challenging incident occurred. Himani had an accident in front of Silver Plaza. She was riding her Activa when it suddenly became unbalanced and crashed. I was riding my own Activa just behind her. She sustained several injuries from the accident, and I was genuinely scared for her. I took her to the doctor to receive first aid. Later, I brought her to my home due to her injuries, as she couldn’t ride her Activa. This was a tough and unforgettable moment that deepened our connection from just being best friends to becoming soul sisters.

I firmly believe that friendship is one of the most beautiful relationships in the world, which is built on the foundation of love and trust. It is essential for a happy life. No matter how old we grow or how much distance separates us, she will always hold a special place in my heart.
