The theme of the Web series was to showcase the effect of social media on teenagers and young people who are obsessed with the desire to increase their followers. The auditions were conducted by the production house, The Perfect Way.

As many as 100 students, between the ages of 14 and 21 appeared for auditions.

Excited about her participation in the audition, Himanshi, a 3rd year student, said, “When we got the news about Netflix auditions to be held in our colleges, we were very excited. At the audition, so many students turned up to give their best shot. When we went inside the hall where auditions were conducted, the atmosphere was really relaxed. The judges asked us to enact different expressions and answer a few basic questions. Even though I was nervous, it was a great learning experience that also helped me overcome my stage fear.”

Another 3rd year student, Harsh Mehta, who is passionate about acting, said, “We had to answer the questions asked by the judges either in Hindi or Punjabi. They asked about my hobbies, how I spent my free time, my daily routine, my favourite actor and movies. And they were recording all our answers and expressions.”

The auditions were judged by Mr. Sumit Attari and Ms. Bhavana, Casting Directors of the Production House. The shooting for the same is expected to begin in the month of December 2021.

“It gives me immense pride and joy to share that a prestigious and established platform like Netflix has chosen our institution for these auditions. Apeejay is known for its talented artists in different fields and Netflix will surely be able to find suitable artists for their upcoming series.”
