Students and Parents Create Lasting Memories at Delightful School Picnic

In an effort to provide students with a meaningful connection to nature and foster holistic development beyond the confines of traditional classrooms, Apeejay School, Noida orchestrated a delightful picnic on the school premises on February 17^th, 2024. Recognising the pivotal roles of both teachers and parents in a child’s holistic growth, this event aimed to create a platform for students and parents to bond and create lasting memories.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Tapasya, the Pre-Primary In charge, setting the tone for a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and cherished moments. The organisers acknowledged that a picnic offers students the chance to be more independent, make decisions, and even develop leadership skills, attributes that are often cultivated beyond the classroom environment.

The festivities began with an invigorating Zumba session, setting an energetic tone for the day. Kite flying followed, allowing students and parents alike to engage in a shared experience of fun and skill. The spirit of teamwork was alive and well during a tug-of-war competition among parents, fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition.

As the day unfolded, interactive games such as musical chairs and passing the parcel added to the joyous atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for both students and parents. The lively activities were complemented by a delectable spread of sandwiches, cakes, and juices, providing nourishment for the body alongside the uplifting activities for the spirit.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude for the active participation and cooperation of parents and students alike. The smiles on the faces of the little ones and their parents showcased the success of the event in creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.
