To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, to gain while you all give, to roam the roads of land remote, to travel is to live
– Hans Christian Andersen

Ever wondered what organised chaos appears like? This place is known for its rich culture and heritage and resides in the heart of every Indian. I am taking you deep down memory lane and refreshing your travel list with a new addition. Now let’s hop on a ride to Chandni Chowk, the moonlight square of Delhi.

From waking up on a cold winter morning with enthusiastic energy, to reaching our destination on time, those 7-8 hours weave a story of a lifetime. From uploading Metro selfies to selfies on reaching our destination, the Photowalk album opened its first page for AIMC champions. By seeing the happy faces early in the morning with the sun shining bright above in the sky, the day called for a sparkling start.

With the waves of shoppers, hawkers, tourists moving around the narrow alley with hundreds of shops, Chandni Chowk is a perfect study of finding happiness in city chaos. Holding our cameras, we started capturing our vision of different emotions. Walking across the busy streets with the fresh tunes of birds chirping and monkeys squeaking around, the day holds many memories. Everyone capturing their snapshots with every possible angle highlights the excitement within each one of us.

The small faces of happiness reflecting innocence walking around the streets can melt your heart in a second. Apart from Jama Masjid and other historical places that date back to the Mughal era, Chandni Chowk has several historical buildings that weave their own story . With the existence of Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir or the Sikh gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib – the place also calls for blessings from the Almighty.

Coming from different backgrounds yet standing united on the streets of Chandni Chowk, the 2021-22 batch of AIMC intertwined their own stories of friendship. Known for the authenticity of Delhi street food, the Paranthe Wali Gali conveys an altogether different vibe and experience.

Delicacies and sweets await you at every street corner. The scrumptious aloo paratha, cold glass of lassi, Dahi Bhalla, the famous Daulat ki Chaat are not only a treat to the eyes but also to our taste buds.

The beauty of Chandni Chowk does not end here as the tiny shops and stalls selling quality fabrics may inspire you to attend a wedding. The intricately designed wedding-wear reflects the true craftsmanship of our artisans. It even highlights the real essence of design that conveys the message of our culture and ethos.

The lanes and by-lanes in the area are the hubs for all our bloggers and influencers creating their magic. Whether it is food bloggers or travel bloggers or lifestyle bloggers, the streets of Chandni Chowk hold a different value for everyone.

This place gave the first photo walk for the batch of 2021-22. Our photo album is now full of new experiences, memories, and individual stories that one can remember for a lifetime.

It took us to a different world with many different styles, different attitudes and different stories. With this, our day at Chandni Chowk came to an end. There is too much to explore in a day within this beautifully organised chaos. Nevertheless, the journey holds a different perspective and value for every participant.
