Pinnacle 2023 concludes with great fervour and enthusiasm

The annual fiesta at the Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus showcases enthralling performances, art and creativity

Annual fests in learning institutes act as a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, compete with their peers, and have a feel of the ‘real world’. Thus, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar hosted its
much-awaited APEEJAY PINNACLE 2023, an annual fiesta featuring a diverse array of events. 

The entire campus was reverberating with energy and enthusiasm as this grand event witnessed active participation from the students of all three schools including Management, IT & Engineering. The talented students performed their best in 50 different competitions during this multi-event meet. Almost all the students of the Institute participated with great gusto.

This grand fiesta encompassed Academic Events such as Paper Presentation, Quiz, Debate, Elocution, Net Savvy. In addition, it featured Cultural Events like Skit, Antakshri, One Act Play, Dumb Charade, Debate, Classical Vocal Solo, Balle-Balle, Fashion Show, and Duet Song along with Sports Events such as Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball and Chess.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Susheel Mittal, Vice Chancellor of IKG Punjab Technical University. Inspiring the participants during his address, Dr. Mittal emphasised, “Hard work and skill development play a crucial role in realising one’s dreams.”

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and shared his words of wisdom with the audience. He presented an overview of the Institute’s achievements across various Key Result Areas (KRAs) that have been vital for its overall development.

Further, Dr. Bagga highlighted the institute’s commitment to staying updated with contemporary educational practices and encouraged the students to consistently work towards enhancing their personalities. He also spoke about the importance of organising such events. “Such events help the young minds to unlock their hidden talent,” he added. He also emphasised the need to develop the mental, cultural, social and intellectual abilities of the students along with formal education.

APEEJAY PINNACLE 2023 opened with a breathtaking performance of Krishna Vandana and continued with a series of captivating displays. Students demonstrated their talents in various events including Solo Singing, Mimicry, Mime, Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Choreography, Ad Mad Show, Group Song, One Minute Show, and Fashion Show. Additionally, they showcased their knowledge and skills in events such as Paper Presentation, Cartooning, Poster Making, Website Designing, and On-the-Spot Painting. The sporting spirit was also on full display in competitions like Chess, Badminton, Cricket, and Volleyball.

The annual fest turned out to be a grand success with enthralling experiences while adding to the box of memories.
