Parent Orientation Programme for Classes III to V was organised at Apeejay School, Saket, to familiarise parents with the latest curricular reforms introduced by CBSE in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. The programme aimed to strengthen the partnership between school and parents while providing valuable insights into the evolving educational landscape and the school’s academic vision for holistic learning.

The session was conducted under the guidance of the school Principal, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, along with the Vice-principal, Ms. Ashu Khattar, Senior Academic Coordinator, Ms Ritesh Sharma, Primary In-charge Ms Seema Passi, and Exam Department Head Ms Meenu Sehgal. The speakers shared detailed information about the key changes being implemented in the curriculum and assessment system to make learning more skill-oriented, experiential, and student-centric.

A major focus of the orientation was competency-based learning, which encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and application-based understanding among students. Parents were also introduced to the integration of Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the curriculum, reflecting the school’s commitment to preparing learners for the demands of the future. Important aspects related to assessment patterns, promotion policy, and academic expectations were explained in a clear and comprehensive manner.

The programme also highlighted various school initiatives such as Awakening and CACA, which are conducted across different grades to nurture students’ emotional, creative, and co-curricular development alongside academics.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, who interacted actively with the school leadership and faculty members. Parents appreciated the school’s consistent efforts towards maintaining transparency, adopting progressive educational practices, and ensuring the holistic growth and well-being of every child.
