The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a retest for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024, scheduled from July 15 to 19, 2024. This retest is specifically for students who raised valid complaints regarding the initial exam. The NTA has already released the provisional answer key and is addressing grievances received until June 30. If a grievance is found genuine, the concerned candidates will be allowed to retake the exam at selected centers during the specified dates.

Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key until July 9, 5 pm, with a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. According to a senior NTA official, these challenges will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts.

Following this review, the final answer key will be published, and the results will be declared based on it. The NTA has committed to ensuring fairness by re-evaluating the exam for those with valid grievances.

Despite the release of the provisional answer key, the final result declaration will be delayed. The NTA’s efforts to address public grievances and ensure a fair testing process demonstrate their commitment to maintaining the integrity of the CUET UG 2024 exam.

Candidates who have concerns about the provisional answer key are encouraged to submit their objections promptly, ensuring their issues are reviewed before the final results are announced.
