Ishika’s journey at Apeejay School of Management (ASM) has been marked by continuous learning, practical exposure, and personal growth. From participating in event operations and team collaborations to developing industry-relevant skills, she has made the most of her PGDM experience. In this interview, Ishika shares why she chose ASM, the valuable lessons she learned along the way, and how the institution helped shape her professional outlook.
Why did you choose ASM for MBA education?
I chose ASM because of its strong reputation in management education, industry-oriented curriculum, experienced faculty, and excellent placement support. The institute provides numerous opportunities for practical learning through internships, industry interactions, events, and workshops, which help students become industry-ready.
Your learning journey at ASM
My learning journey at ASM has been enriching and transformative. Along with academic knowledge, I gained practical exposure through internships, live projects, event management activities, and teamwork. These experiences helped me develop leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills that will be valuable throughout my career.
How did ASM and the teachers help you prepare for the real-world challenges?
ASM played a significant role in shaping my professional skills and preparing me for placements. The faculty members were always supportive and guided us through mock interviews, aptitude preparation, group discussions, and personality development sessions.
Your future aspirations?
My goal is to build a successful career in event management and operations while continuously learning and growing professionally. I aspire to take on leadership responsibilities in the future, contribute to organizational success, and develop expertise in managing large-scale projects and business operations.
