Management students present exciting business proposals and startup plans

The students participated in a competition organised by the Human Resources club in their college

Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar recently organised a competition for students where they had to come up with business plans. Students from MBA, BBA, and BCom participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm.

As part of the competition, students showcased their analytical prowess by coming up with startup and business plans, cost analysis, market understandability, competitors, and business environment.

Dr RR Rajan Chaudhary, dean, School of Management, was the convener and Dr Sonika Aggarwal Garg, faculty, School of Management, was the faculty coordinator.

Manya Wadera from the MBA department and her team were adjudged winners.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, director, AIMETC, appreciated the students and acknowledged their knowledge in the different fields of Human Resources and Leadership. He advised students to continue showcasing eagerness to participate in events organised by the student clubs at AIMETC.

AIMETC has held several other engaging competitions in the past. This month, it also organised “Logic Testing: A Programming Competition” for BCA, MCA, and BTech students. Some of the other events held were a virtual stock trading workshop, a session on entrepreneurship and innovation, a creative slogan writing competition, and more.
