Additionally, promoting good nutrition in children helps establish a foundation for healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge that they can carry with them throughout their lives.”

In addition to a healthy diet, regular physical activity is also critical for a healthy lifestyle. Exercise helps maintain weight, reduces the risk of chronic diseases, and improves mental health. It is recommended that students give at least 60 minutes to do physical activity every day.

Ms Lakhanpal adds, “Everyone has their own way to recharge their sense of well-being — something that makes them feel good physically, emotionally, and spiritually, even if they aren’t consciously aware of it. Personally, I believe mental health and physical health are closely connected. Knowing what you can do physically that has this effect on you will change your day and your life.”

Moreover, maintaining a consistent sleep schedule is also essential for a healthy lifestyle. According to Ms Lakhanpal, “Getting the right amount of sleep each night helps people think clearly and feel their best. It also benefits mental health by lowering stress, improving mood, and helping you concentrate at school.”
