Read edited excerpts:

What fields and avenues are open after pursuing BCA?

Well, BCA is a professional course. So there are a plethora of options from web designing, software engineering to software development and all other design related avenues.

Wow! But how did you get interested in this field?

I was always very good at computers. I was excellent in C++ and I even topped computers in school and was again the highest scorer in BCA at ACFA. So, this was always my passion.

And how did this journey begin?

I would always get very good grades in computers at school. Then I started coding and got way more interested in this field. It was around that time that I decided to pursue my career in this.

Speaking of which, tell us about your campus placement at Tommy Hilfiger?

So when the campus placement opportunity with Tommy Hilfiger came, I applied along with other students. I went ahead for the interview as well as other rounds and subsequently, got selected. I joined them after two months, and I got to learn a lot in the time I worked there. I interacted with various people and learned so much from the diverse work they all do. After a few weeks, I decided that I wanted to pursue my Masters, so I left the job and began preparing for the next chapter.

Did the people at ACFA groom you well?

Absolutely! All the teachers guided us very well. Puneet sir guided me throughout the placement process, right from the interview to the group discussion round. He supported me at every stage.

So the time at ACFA was productive?

It was very good. The environment was mesmerising. The personality and confidence I have developed from there will always stay with me. I will remember those days forever.

Your future plans?

Pursuing MCA in a good college in India.
