This era is highly dominated by sedentary habits and immense technological advances. For the same, schools must promote more extracurricular activities and sports.

Physical activity not only improves a child’s fitness level but also helps them to enhance their concentration level ultimately leading to brighter academic performance.

One such school is Apeejay School, which not only lays emphasis on academics but also stays ahead in the game to provide room for extracurricular activities.

Such a commendable aspect of the school has made it possible for parents like Udit Arora, the father of Harshvardhan Arora, studying in Nursery standard at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park to make informed decisions and enroll their child at such an exceptional school.

In a candid interview, the father says he is highly satisfied with this school and its unwavering commitment to promoting sports activities along with academics.

What was the admission process like when you enrolled him in the school?

The admission process for enrolling him in the school went smoothly and without any challenges. Initially, we did not make it to the admission list after submitting the form, we received a call from the school later, and he was promptly enrolled.

What was your primary reason for choosing this particular school for your child?

Apeejay is amongst one of the most esteemed schools wherein its reputation speaks for itself. Additionally, Apeejay holds an account in many universities and I am planning to consider them for the future of my son, if everything goes well. Furthermore, my father shares a positive rapport with Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia (Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society) for which my father was very keen to let him study in this school.

Does he participate in extracurricular activities?

Yes. Harshvardhan loves to engage in sports activities. He is also a part of a sports club, where he actively participates in different activities. Additionally, he is engaged in the abacus activities. Recently, he attended an adventure camp as part of a sports excursion.

Does your son like to go to school?

Harshvardhan loves to attend school and remains highly enthusiastic. He is more interested in attending school, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays when he has his sports classes.

Anything he has learned recently at school?

Recently he has commenced the process of learning to write the alphabet, covering both lower and upper case letters, as well as numbers and more.

How has been his progress at school?

Initially, he was slow but it’s been close to one year since he started studying in this school and his progress scale has climbed up the ladder. Moreover, now he interacts well with his peers relatives, and other members which has built an innate level of confidence in his personality.

What measures do you take to facilitate his learning at home?

The school updates everything on the Noodle platform which we diligently follow. So whatever has been taught to him in school, we make him revise the same at home.

What do you appreciate the most about this school?

Everything is good about this school so far. Whether it be in terms of academics, extracurricular activities, teachers, or class teachers. It’s hard to mention any one such thing.

How do you intend to spend quality time with your child?

Harshvardhan is an extremely outgoing child. He loves to explore the outside world. We engage in playtime, short outings to the playground, and various activities that capture his interest. Recently, we have started playing VR (Virtual Reality) games together.
