Fun activities and new friendships set the stage for a promising academic year

The first day of school is a significant milestone for young learners, marking the beginning of a journey filled with knowledge, friendships, and personal growth. The corridors of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, buzzed with enthusiasm as students from nursery to Class VIII stepped into their new academic journey. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, curiosity, and joy as children embarked on a year of learning and discovery. 

The Pre-primary Wing was a hub of excitement, with engaging activities designed to make young learners feel comfortable and welcome. The tiny tots of nursery had a delightful day as they participated in circle time, enjoyed scribbling, and bonded with new friends during playtime. A special takeaway was given to them as a keepsake to cherish their first school experience.

In LKG, students traced a vibrant rainbow, practiced writing their names, and enjoyed an interactive floor game that added to the excitement. The activities were aimed at fostering creativity and early learning skills in an engaging and fun-filled manner.

UKG students received a traditional welcome with a tilak and a melodious welcome song, setting a warm and cheerful tone for the day. They expressed their creativity by imprinting their hand impressions on a special giveaway and adding colours to a picture titled My First Day of School. Interactive floor games and friendly conversations helped them break the ice, making their transition into school life smooth and enjoyable.
