Delhi Schools, Colleges allowed to reopen for administrative work with 50% capacity

The Delhi government has allowed auditoriums and assembly halls in schools and educational institutions to be used for training and meeting purposes with 50 per cent capacity. This means that students are not allowed to physically attend their respective institutions. “Only teachers and professors will be allowed inside educational institutions for online lectures and other administrative work. There will be in strict adherence to the standard operating procedure and other guidelines of the government, and compliance of Covid-appropriate behaviour,” a state government notification read. As Covid-19 cases decline across the country, many states have started planning the reopening of educational institutions.
