Apeejay Schools welcome new interact leaders for session 2026-27

Apeejay Education, under the visionary leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, continues to uphold its commitment to holistic education, human values and nation-building. Carrying forward the legacy of late Founder Chairman Dr Stya Paul, Apeejay Schools remain dedicated to nurturing responsible, compassionate and socially conscious young leaders.

In keeping with this ethos, the Interact Club Installation Ceremony for Apeejay School, Pitampura, Apeejay School, Saket, Apeejay School, Faridabad 21-D and Apeejay School, Noida was held, at the Apeejay School, Noida auditorium. The ceremony marked the induction of the new Interact Club teams for the session 2026-27.

The event was graced by the virtual presence of Rtn. Dr Neha Berlia, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education, Co-Founder & Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chair, Interact/Rotaract, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, along with Rtn Anurag Rathi, President, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, Rtn Dr Sonia Lal Gupta, Joint Secretary, Rtn. Rakesh Malhotra, Director, and Rtn. Mrs Nandita Rathi, Member, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier.

The school band welcomed the dignitaries, following which the programme commenced with the National Anthem and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. A soulful group song by students of Apeejay School, Saket added a serene touch to the occasion.

Welcoming the guests, Dr Neha Sharma, Director Principal, Apeejay School, Noida, highlighted Rtn. Dr Neha Berlia’s exemplary achievements and paid tribute to Dr Stya Paul, whose ideals continue to guide the Apeejay fraternity.

In her address, Rtn Dr Neha Berlia emphasised the enduring relevance of selflessness, compassion and inner strength. She highlighted the environmental initiatives undertaken by Interact Clubs and their contribution to society, while congratulating the outgoing teams and welcoming the newly appointed office-bearers. She urged the students to embrace selfless service and inspire others through meaningful action.

The cultural segment showcased the values of unity, courage and service. Students of Apeejay School, Faridabad 21-D presented a vibrant garba raas, while Apeejay School, Pitampura staged Prem Ki Virasat, a poignant mime depicting humanity’s journey from survival to sacrifice and service. Students of Apeejay School, Noida presented The Hero Within, a musical theatre production celebrating courage, kindness and the strength of the human spirit.

The outgoing presidents presented their annual reports, highlighting achievements, awareness campaigns, sustainable initiatives and philanthropic activities undertaken during 2025–26. The highlight of the ceremony was the installation of the new teams, marked by the ceremonial exchange of Presidential collars and administration of the Oath of Office by Rtn Anurag Rathi. The newly appointed incoming president is Mehar Khurana.

Addressing the newly inducted Interactors, Rtn Rathi encouraged them to actively participate in Rotary’s avenues of service, particularly initiatives related to healthcare and the environment. He urged them to embrace leadership and uphold the spirit of service.

The Interact Clubs also received the prestigious Club Excellence Award 2025–26 from Rotary International for their commitment to members and Rotary’s core values. The newly installed Presidents subsequently presented their Action Plans for 2026–27.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Manjari Rattan, Interact Club In-charge, Apeejay School, Noida, marking the beginning of another year of purposeful leadership and service.
