It was a day of joy, creativity and spirit of rivalry among the students of Apeejay School, Saket, as they participated in the Inter-House activities. The different events aimed to sensitise students on environmental consciousness, with an emphasis on the growing threat of pollution. These events gave students a stage to showcase their views and feelings in the form of writing, drawing and recitation.
A variety of art skills and informative messages were showcased at the poster-making competition. Vivid colours and strong images were used by the students to convey the negative impacts of pollution and the benefits of protecting the earth. The Venus House won first place with its striking display, followed by the first runner-up, Mercury House. Neptune House secured the second runner-up position.


The Sanskrit Shlok Recitation competition involved students rendering beautiful shlokas that related to nature and the environment. Confidence, articulation and expressions enhanced the performances. Neptune House emerged victorious, followed by Mercury House and Jupiter House, respectively.
The English Essay Writing competition required students to express their thoughts on pollution in an intellectual and constructive way, with reasons, impacts and solutions for the environmental problems. The first position went to Jupiter House for its systematic and well-presented essay. The first runner-up and the second runner-up positions were awarded to Neptune House and Mercury House, respectively.

In the Slogan Writing competition, students presented creative and concise yet powerful slogans to raise awareness of environmental issues. Jupiter House once again bagged the first position with thought-provoking slogans, with Neptune House and Mercury House being placed second and third, respectively.
In conclusion, the Inter-House activities were fun and informative and fostered students’ creative thinking as well as building confidence and promoting co-operative effort. This will indeed contribute to a cleaner and healthier living space for future generations to come.
