Mrs. Namita Jain, mother of Atharv Jain, a class 5 student at Apeejay School, Noida, shares insightful details about her son’s development since joining the school. From Atharv’s love for Sports and Astronomy to the never ending support of the teachers, she highlights what all it takes to help a young child blossom. Edited excerpts:
Yes, now he is in Class 5.And he had a splendid year of growth and fun!
It has been good overall. Academically, I feel there’s something missing, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. However, he enjoys all subjects—except Hindi. I think many students find Hindi a bit challenging.
The teachers are fantastic! His class teacher was truly exceptional. I have never met a more dedicated and helpful teacher. She was always available whenever I needed guidance, and her support made a huge difference. I could call her anytime, and she would always help, no matter what the issue was.

It’s going really well! He enjoys various activities and was a part of Sports Guru, a special paid sports program offered by the school. Earlier, in Class 3, he was also part of an astronomy course under the SIP (Special Interest Programme), which he absolutely loved. While he didn’t pick another SIP activity in Class 4, he continues to enjoy basketball and other physical activities.
Atharv is an incredibly disciplined child. In fact, his class teacher mentioned that he is the most disciplined student in the class. He is responsible, well-behaved, and continues to grow into a bright and curious learner.
Apeejay School, Noida has a wonderful atmosphere. One thing that stands out is how accessible the teachers are. I have heard from parents of students in other schools that PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) are infrequent and communication with teachers is limited. But at Apeejay School, Noida, it’s completely different. The teachers are always available, ensuring a strong connection between students, parents, and educators. It truly feels like a team effort.
