Amazon launches new initiatives to impart knowledge on generative AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) stands out as the most revolutionary technology in our generation. To fully harness AI’s potential in addressing the world’s most complex issues, it is imperative to ensure that AI education is within reach for anyone eager to acquire knowledge.
Thus promoting generative AI, Amazon announces a new initiative “AI Ready”, through which it will be providing free AI skills training to 2 million people globally by 2025. To achieve this goal, Amazon is launching new initiatives for young and adult learners.
One of them is to offer 8 free generative AI learning courses. The other one is Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Scholarship that will provide more than 50,000 high school and university students globally with access to a new generative AI course on Udacity. And finally, new collaboration with Code.org designed to help students learn about generative AI.
