‘A treasure so precious’: Poem by Ashita Goel, Apeejay Stya University

In the tapestry of life, we set forth on a trip,
Through highs and lows, on this heartfelt ship.
Through laughter and tears, we navigate the sky,
Bound by an unbreakable bond, as time flies by.

In the warmth of their embrace, I find solace to cry,
For in the arms of true friends, sorrows gently die.
A brother or friend, a soul so rare,
With love and care, they’re always there.

Through happy days and those tinged with sad,
Together we stand, through good and bad.
In the depths of their hearts, a love so true,
They lift me up when I’m feeling blue.

In moments of joy, they dance with glee,
In moments of despair, they sit with me.
A best friend’s love, an eternal flame,
In the darkest hours, they light the same.

Through this journey of life, friends we find,
A treasure so precious, the purest kind.
For in their presence, we are truly free,
An emotional symphony, an evergreen tree.
