Apeejay School, Saket, hosted a Halloween celebration welcoming young children from neighbouring schools for a day of themed activities, creative expression and storytelling. The event brought together students from different schools for an interactive celebration filled with costumes, crafts and festive entertainment.

The programme featured a range of activities designed to engage the children and give them an opportunity to participate in the Halloween festivities. Among the highlights was a zombie dance, which added an element of playful excitement to the occasion. The children enthusiastically joined the activity, enjoying the music and movement associated with the Halloween theme.

A dedicated Halloween craft session provided another opportunity for the young participants to explore their creativity. Through the activity, children engaged with themed art and craft work, using their imagination to create festive designs. Such hands-on experiences allow young learners to express themselves while developing their creative skills and engaging with different forms of artistic activity.

An enchanting storytelling session was also organised as part of the celebration. The session introduced an element of imagination and narrative to the event, allowing children to enjoy stories in a festive setting. Storytelling can play an important role in early learning by encouraging listening, imagination and language development, while creating opportunities for children to engage with characters and narratives.

The participation of children from nearby schools gave the celebration an opportunity to bring together young learners beyond the boundaries of their respective institutions. The gathering encouraged interaction and shared experiences in an informal setting, allowing children to enjoy the festivities alongside new friends.

The enthusiasm and cheerful participation of the children contributed to the celebratory atmosphere throughout the event. From the lively dance activity to the craft session and storytelling, each segment offered a different way for the young visitors to engage with the occasion.

Halloween, celebrated annually on October 31 in several parts of the world, has increasingly become an occasion for themed activities in schools.

Through the celebration, Apeejay School, Saket, provided young visitors with an opportunity to experience the festival through activities that combined entertainment, creativity and imagination. The event also highlighted the value of collaborative celebrations in creating memorable experiences for children and encouraging interaction among students from different schools.
