Superannuation marks a significant milestone in a professional’s journey. Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, came together to honour two remarkable educators whose dedication has left an indelible mark on the school community. Ms Mukta Amba (PGT Computer Science) and Ms Jyotsana Sawhney (PRT) retired after serving the institution for 30 years and 19 years, respectively, shaping generations of students and nurturing their intellectual and personal growth.

The farewell ceremony was a blend of nostalgia, gratitude, and celebration. Vice-principal, Ms Vandana Bansal, along with students and staff, shared cherished memories, recounting the innumerable moments of guidance, mentorship, and camaraderie that defined their tenure. The atmosphere resonated with warmth and appreciation as anecdotes of their commitment, patience, and unwavering support brought smiles, laughter, and occasional tears, reflecting the deep bonds formed over decades of dedicated service.

To mark the occasion, the school presented both teachers with thoughtful mementoes and gifts, symbolising the community’s heartfelt gratitude for their invaluable contributions. The event also featured speeches highlighting their achievements and the inspiring legacy they leave behind. The gathering culminated in a sumptuous lunch where members of the school exchanged personal messages, blessings, and best wishes, celebrating not just their careers but the meaningful impact they had on countless lives.
