‘My daughter participates in every school activity and competition’

Kyra is a class 5 student at Apeejay School, Model Town in Jalandhar. She is a bright girl, who is performing brilliantly across all fields be it academics, cultural activities or school responsibilities. 

In a quick conversation with her mother Ms Jyoti Tiwari, we learn how the school is empowering Kyra with a new lesson everyday. Read edited excerpts:

How is Kyra doing at the school?

Fantastic! Kyra is an excellent student who is always scoring very high in her exams. She loves to dance and read. She is the Head Girl of the junior school and participates in every activity and competition at the school. She is always a position holder in her class.

That’s so great to know! Clearly, the teachers are engaging well?

They are very good and are teaching pretty well. Some senior wing teachers are teaching the class 5 batch now and they are bringing in the much needed strictness. So, the students are learning a new way of being taught! It’s great!

So dance is her favorite activity?

Dance and art means the most to her. She even goes to the dance class after school. And has won many gold medals there as well.

Any details on Kyra’s academic progress?

Kyra is extremely good in every subject. Punjabi is a bit tough as of now but she is confident it will pick up soon.

 So, you see your maturing after becoming head girl?

She is definitely more responsible now. Currently in her summer vacation, she is eager to go to school and resume her responsibilities at the school as the head girl.

Finally, as a parent, what’s your feedback on the school?

My experience has been just superb!
