Jalandhar institute honours outstanding students at 24th Annual Prize Distribution Function

The Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) at Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, recently hosted its 24th Annual Prize Distribution Function, recognising the achievements of over 300 meritorious students in academics and co-curricular activities. The event, graced by esteemed guests including Mr. Puneet Sharma, PCS, Joint Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, witnessed a celebration of academic excellence and extracurricular talent.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, who provided insights into the institute’s Annual Report. He further made a reference to the infrastructure of the institute, teaching methodology, academic results, and cultural and sports activities. He also informed, “The institute’s campus placement programme in 2023-24 met with stupendous success as many reputed companies participated in it and recruited students of both MBA, MCA and B Tech.”

Subsequently, Mr. Puneet Sharma, who presided over as the Chief Guest, applauded the students for their multifaceted achievements and encouraged them to continue their journey of learning and growth. In his address, he mentioned, “The hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students have paid off, and reminded them that their achievements are the beginning of a long journey. Students, you should utilise your time properly.” The chief guest also encouraged the students to cast their votes in the upcoming elections. 

The distribution of prizes and certificates ensued, with academic achievers, sports champions, and cultural performers being honoured for their outstanding contributions. Notable awards included Mr. and Ms. Pinnacle 2023, bagged by Bidesh and Megha respectively, recognizing their exemplary leadership qualities. Jiya and Dilpreet Kaur were awarded for their exceptional talents in dance and compering, while Amisha was recognised as the Best Singer of 2023.

Dr. Rajneesh Arya, Dean of the School of Management, expressed gratitude to the chief guest and other dignitaries for their presence and support, underscoring the importance of such events in fostering a culture of excellence and achievement among students.

Overall, the 24th Annual Prize Distribution Function at AIME Technical Campus served as a platform to honour deserving students and inspire them to strive for greater heights in their academic and personal endeavours.
