Science has come a long way, constantly improving our understanding of Earth and the universe. With the help of evolving technology, we have made remarkable discoveries and obtained more accurate information. The advancements in technology have played a crucial role in enhancing our knowledge of space. What we knew about space in the year 2000 was limited by the resolution and quality of the technology at that time. However, in 2023, we have access to much better resolution and sophisticated devices that allow us to explore and navigate the cosmos more effectively.

Thanks to these advancements, we have made significant progress in various scientific fields. For instance, palaeontologists have discovered fossils of ancient creatures like dinosaurs, providing us with insights into the past. By exploring the depths of the ocean, we have also encountered fascinating deep-sea animals, including those found in the Mariana Trench. Moreover, technology has enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of elements such as metals, non-metals, and even precious gems like diamonds. It has also helped us study natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and floods, unveiling their causes and effects.

In the past, humans made important discoveries even before the age of technology. The invention of the wheel revolutionised transportation, leading to the creation of carts for carrying goods. Later, in the 1880s, bicycles and motorbikes were invented, expanding our means of travel. As time passed, we continued to unlock more knowledge about the world around us. We studied animal behaviour, delved into their anatomical structures, and even explored the intricate world of viruses. However, it’s essential to note that we have only scratched the surface of the vast mysteries that our world holds.

As we move forward, science and technology will continue to uncover more hidden treasures and unravel the secrets of the universe. The human thirst for knowledge and curiosity will drive us to explore further and push the boundaries of our understanding. With each new discovery, we gain a deeper appreciation for the wonders that surround us, while also recognising the vastness of the unknown that lies ahead.
