‘This school offers exactly what we want for our daughter’

Vidhi Tyagi enrolled her daughter Aneeksha in Apeejay School, Saket, last year (2022). After completing nearly a year at the school, the mother and daughter are both very happy with the school and its teachers. In an interview, Vidhi shares how Aneeksha’s class teacher has been a constant source of support.

Excerpts:

What made you pick Apeejay School, Saket?

We wanted a school with a healthy environment and good teachers. And Apeejay fit the bill perfectly. When we spoke to some other parents, they gave us good feedback too. So, we were confident about enrolling our child in the school.

Aneeksha is in nursery now. What progress are you observing?

She feels very comfortable in school. And she adores and respects her class teacher very much, which motivates her to participate in class activities and do her assignments. Her teacher Sunita ma’am is very encouraging and supportive.

I am happy to see Aneeksha being able to identify the alphabet and write on her own. She is also learning to take responsibility for her tasks and complete her homework on her own. She has begun interacting with her classmates and teacher confidently.

How helpful are the teachers?

They help us keep track of our child’s day-to-day progress. Aneeksha’s class teacher is well aware of each child’s strengths and weaknesses and guides parents accordingly, which is very helpful. We make sure to attend all parent-teacher meetings. Aneeksha’s teacher patiently gives us detailed feedback and helps us understand how to guide our daughter. I am very happy with the school.
