How has been your daughter’s experience at Apeejay School, so far?

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching her journey at this school. For the longest time, she was an introvert, but now she’s eager to speak, share her opinion, participate, and is excited to go to school. Overall, I’ve seen a wonderful transformation in her, and I’m really happy about it.

How excited and motivated does your child feel to attend school?

She is always very happy and loves going to school. She missed her day boarding and day schools during the COVID-19 period. When she started attending in-person classes, I was initially a bit uneasy since it was the first time I was sending her post the pandemic. However, her response has been amazing, and the way the school has nurtured her has been exceptional. She has adjusted beautifully, and it’s clear that the school has played a significant role in her positive development.

How are the facilities provided by the school?

The care and the learning environment are perfect. I am very satisfied with the facilities and resources the school provides. Overall, I have no concerns and am completely happy with everything.

Importance of communication between teachers and parents.

The school is excellent. They use WhatsApp and a Moodle platform, ensuring there’s never any miscommunication between me and the teachers. Their communication is outstanding.

How does the school maintain a cordial relationship with parents?

A strong communication is crucial because a child spends a significant amount of time at school. It’s important to monitor their overall growth, not just academically, but also in how they react, share, and interact with their surroundings and friends. Teachers play a vital role in providing feedback on these aspects. This feedback allows us to address any personality traits that need attention and support our child at home. Effective communication is essential for this process.

What types of extracurricular activities does your participates in?

She’s involved in the music group, participates in dance, and also does skating at school. She’s a good student and has started swimming as well. Additionally, she’s a great artist. What I particularly appreciate is her active participation in the school’s assembly. The children take the lead in organising and conducting the assembly, which is a wonderful opportunity for them to develop leadership and organisational skills.

What’s your parenting style?

I always teach Amisha to ‘be honest and share her views and opinions freely’. She needs to live in a free atmosphere, to be herself, and to embrace who she is. Whether it’s a challenging task or something interesting, she should always feel free to express herself.
