Apeejay School, Noida, took a significant step towards raising awareness about the importance of blood donation by organising a series of impactful activities in December 2024. The events aimed to encourage active participation in the Blood Donation Camp to inspire the school community to contribute to this vital cause.  

On December 24, 2024, the school’s Interactors (Interact Club) staged a powerful rally to promote the cause of blood donation. With vibrant banners and posters displaying thought-provoking slogans, the students’ dedication was palpable as they made their message resonate across the local community.

The Interactors visited nearby offices and studios, distributing informative pamphlets about the upcoming blood donation camp. To maximise outreach, they also displayed eye-catching posters outside the school premises, drawing attention to the noble initiative. Their efforts underscored the importance of community involvement in addressing the pressing need for blood donations. 

An integral part of this campaign was the inspiring awareness session held on December 23, 2024. The session was conducted by Dr Himanshu Sachdeva, a distinguished alumnus of Apeejay School, Noida. Addressing an enthusiastic audience comprising students from classes VI to IX and XI, Dr Sachdeva shed light on the life-saving benefits of blood donation. He effectively dispelled prevalent myths surrounding the practice and urged students to recognise their responsibility as proactive citizens.

He emphasised the critical role they could play in inspiring their parents and elders to participate in the camp. The session was interactive and engaging, with Dr Sachdeva encouraging students to voice their queries and fostering an enlightening exchange of ideas. His passionate address left a lasting impression, motivating the young audience to advocate for the cause within their circles.
