This Jalandhar College organises virtual workshop on Stock Trading

During the 3-days workshop, students of AIMETC learn the fundamentals of online trading

Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised a virtual workshop on ‘Stock Trading’, wherein more than 100 students of MBA, BBA, B.Com (H), MCA, BCA, B.Tech registered for the event.

The event began with a discussion on the basic tips and tricks of stock market trading for students who wish to build their careers in the field of the stock market.

During the session, students learned the fundamentals of the share market with both theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Also, students got to try their hands on an online trading app ‘Moneybhai.com’, wherein they learned how to build their portfolio, and how to use technical tools like candlestick, etc. to analyse and predict stock movements.

Further, there was a special quiz session in which all the participants enthusiastically attempted and exhibited learning by scoring well. Overall, the workshop was a great learning experience for young minds.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director at AIMETC expressed, “In this informative session, students experienced hands-on training on the virtual platform. The practical workshop on stock trading helped students understand the journey of long-term investors and the intricacies of the stock market.”

Pallavi and Rohan Mahajan, Vice-president and Assistant Vice-President of the Finance club respectively were the resource person for the workshop and coordinated the overall event meticulously.

The student coordinators of the event were Jobandeep, Disha Anand, Jaya Laxmi, Sajal Sharma, Sonu, Parteep, Tush Kumar, Gaurav Kalra, Himanshu Uppal, Rohit, Abhay Rana, Nikihil Chauhan, Keshav Singla, Karanpreet Kaur and Dheeraj Kumar.

Lastly, Dr Bagga appreciated the efforts of the Finance club and congratulated Dr Anu Sahi, Convenor and Ms. Hardeep Kaur, Faculty Coordinator for conducting an impactful and knowledgeable workshop.
