She firmly believes that there is nothing a woman can’t do. From writing to flying planes, the possibilities are endless. Meet Kayna Garg, studying in class V at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. In a candid interview, she shares why Sudha Murty inspires her so much.

Tell us about the books that you have written so far.
I have written two books so far. My first book, titled Friendship, focuses on the importance of friendship in our lives. I wrote it in March 2024. My second book, Stress of Exams, tells the story of a girl who becomes very stressed during her exams and how her father helps her overcome it.
Who is your inspiration behind writing?

When I was in class IV, I was inspired to write a book by the school. I was encouraged and given the confidence to express my thoughts through writing.
Who is your favourite author and why?
Sudha Murty is my favourite author. She writes captivating stories in a way that is easy for everyone to understand, especially young readers.
Would you like to become an author professionally in future?
Yes, I would like to become an author in the future.
What’s the most challenging part about writing?
The most challenging part of writing books is deciding on the theme and title.
How did Apeejay help you in exploring your writing talent?
With the help of Apeejay School, I learnt about Bribooks (AI platform) and began writing books on that platform. The school also encouraged me, giving me the confidence to pursue writing.
How has writing changed your life personally?
It has enhanced my imagination and improved both my writing and reading skills.
