School of Design and Visual Arts, wins award for ‘Best Design Thinking Learning Programme’

In the recently concluded ‘Experiential Learning Awards 2022’, School of Design and Visual Arts (SDVA), Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram won the ‘Best Design Thinking Learning Programme’ award in the higher education category. The award ceremony was organised by ScooNews and the award was conferred at the Experiential Learning Conclave 2022 held in Guwahati. 

The four-day event that brought together more than 300 educators from across India to share and exchange experiences, ideas and case studies on experiential learning, the need of the hour, according to the guidelines of National Education Policy 2020. The aim is to encourage students to become more involved in the learning process and explore their creative streak.

At SDVA, students are offered industry-oriented programmes in which creative learning, live projects, internships and industry interface empowers them with strong design aesthetics and key skills to provide design based solutions. The School of Design and Visual Arts houses well-equipped labs including Fashion Studio, Digital Media Lab and Animation Studio, CAD Lab, Material Labs & Workshops, etc.
