After the refreshing summer break, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, reopened its doors with a deep sense of reflection, renewal, and purpose. The campus buzzed with a renewed academic spirit as the school welcomed back its faculty, paving the way for a meaningful start to the new session.
The reopening day was marked by a warm and heartfelt welcome extended to the newly appointed Vice-principal, Ms Loveleen Bagga. Introduced formally by the Principal of the school, Mr AK Sharma, Ms Bagga’s arrival set an inspiring tone for the year ahead. She addressed the staff with a powerful and introspective presentation titled Waking the Innerself – How Spiritual Values Empower Teachers and Shape Students. Her words highlighted the transformative role of inner awareness and spiritual grounding in the teaching-learning journey, reminding educators of the deeper impact they have on young minds beyond textbooks and classrooms.

Adding to the reflective atmosphere of the day, Ms Indu Bala, PRT (Hindi), delivered a stirring presentation on Ethics and Integrity – Towards a Moral Life. Her talk underscored the importance of moral responsibility and the need for educators to lead by example in shaping socially responsible and value-driven students.

The academic discourse continued with an insightful seminar by Ms Preeti Sharma, PGT (Chemistry), who shared her expertise on Competency-Based Assessment at the Secondary Level. Her session shed light on the significance of aligning assessment strategies with desired learning outcomes, nurturing critical thinking, and fostering real-world application of knowledge.
