Apeejay School, Rama Mandi observes the 14th punyatithi of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul with a renewed commitment to quality education
The 14th punyatithi of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul, (Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, was observed with deep reverence and devotion at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar. The solemn occasion brought together the school management, staff members, and students to pay heartfelt tribute to her inspiring life and invaluable contribution to the Apeejay family.
The programme commenced with Principal Mr AK Sharma and Vice-principal Mrs Loveleen Bagga offering floral tributes to Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul. Students and staff members also paid their shradhanjali by offering flowers and remembering her with great respect and admiration. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected peace, gratitude, and spiritual harmony.
Adding a devotional touch to the occasion, the school’s music teacher, Ms Nidhi Sharma, along with her team, presented soulful bhajans that were among Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul’s favourite hymns. The melodious renditions created a serene and spiritual ambience, leaving everyone emotionally connected to the essence of the programme.
During the event, certificates were also distributed to students who secured first, second, and third positions in various school activities. The recognition ceremony encouraged students to continue striving for excellence in academics and co-curricular pursuits.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal spoke about the remarkable contribution of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul in supporting the vision and mission of Dr Stya Paul. He highlighted how Dr Stya Paul, laid the foundation of Apeejay Education with the aim of providing quality education to children, under which numerous schools, colleges, and Apeejay Stya University are successfully functioning today. He further stated that Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul played a significant role in strengthening and supporting this noble vision.
He concluded by saying that imparting quality education and nurturing young minds with values and knowledge would be the truest tribute to the cherished memory of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul.
