Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, organised the “Annual Thematic Project Presentation” for the pre-primary students, in line with the thematic learning approach followed in Apeejay schools.

Enthusiastic students showcased their journey of thematic learning, which is implemented in the curriculum through dance, skits, and music. For the uninitiated, thematic learning is an interdisciplinary approach that involves selecting and highlighting a theme through an instructional unit, module, or multiple courses. In other words, while teaching pre-primary and primary students, the teachers at Apeejay interlink multiple subjects using a common theme, which helps in effective concept building.

The presentation at the event began with a dance followed by the felicitation of the esteemed guests. A green welcome was accorded to the guest by Sandeep Singh Kathuria, the school’s principal. The students also presented the annual report for the session 2022-23.

Theme-based learning integrates different learning areas and skills. It was beautifully presented by the preschoolers as they explained the learning process, methodology, and its outcome, through a presentation, dance, and music.

Another highlight was the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony which was held with great enthusiasm and fervour.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the entire organising team. The day was full of joy, knowledge, and fun for students and the audience.
