Similar to home, school is a place where children feel a sense of belonging and community. According to Saloni Chopra whose son Diven is studying in nursery at Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, kids form bonds with classmates, teachers, and staff, creating a supportive network of relationships that contribute to their emotional well-being.

In a candid interview, the mother talks about how this school has positively influenced her son.

Why did you choose Rhythms for your little one?

A cousin of Diven, Vidhi is already going to this school and we just love the presence of this school. Even the huge ground of the school is so lush green and looks serene during the morning hours when children are playing there.

Any special techniques used by the teachers here?

Teachers here are extremely proactive about the children at school. They keep a check on their safety along with keeping them busy with different activities. My son’s communication skills were limited and would rarely speak to anyone, but now since the time he has started going to school, he has been improving daily.

How has Rhythms positively influenced Diven?

It’s been a year that he has been going to this school and I have observed a remarkable change in his growth and personality. Diven has already learnt how to write alphabets, he has even picked on how to differentiate between various colours.

Any special memory from here which is close to your heart?

Yes! I want to narrate an anecdote shared by my son’s class teacher in pre-nursery. During recess, Diven would always go to his class teacher and ask her to share food with him and expressed his concern since she would be hungry and tired. This was so overwhelming for his teacher and she was amazed to see such a big gesture at such a young age. His teacher told me that no child has ever asked her so politely and sweetly for sharing food.

Would you like to continue with the Apeejay group in future?

I have observed my brother-in-law’s daughter, now in class II. She has turned into such a positive, healthy and a happy child. I want the same for my son and grow holistically at this institute.

How are the teachers here?

They are all so loving and caring for each and every student of the school. My son learnt how to share his things with others and understands the importance of ‘sharing is caring’. There is so much improvement in my son and I am glad to see such great progress in him.
