‘Lost somewhere’: Poem by Saurabh Mishra, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park

I’m somewhere where no one can find me!
Even I’m not able see the shadow of my path.

Where am I?

I’m in severe condition but for what?
What the feeling tells, nothing but fear!
Have I chosen my life or has life chosen me?

The one I wanted the most
Is not with me! Why?

I wanted to sit aside, but life knocked at the worst moment!
I wanted to see you smiling, playing, laughing with me,
But luck played with me very badly.

This distance is just a little bit but looks like my whole life!
I loved you the most, I wanted to see the sunset with you every evening.
But the pain I got, is unbearable,

I can’t express to you, how I want to enjoy my life,
But the hopes end
I said bye forever to everything but not to you,
Life goes on and on, but I don’t enjoy it unless you are there!
For I’m lost somewhere, come quickly and find me and
Get me home with you
Bye forever
