Apeejay School, Nerul organises a fancy dress competition themed on ‘The animal world’

Fancy dress competitions are a colourful memory of almost everyone’s childhood. Most people often share delightful throwback pictures on social media of their toddler selves dressed in superhero costumes. Apeejay School, Nerul understands the importance of fancy dress competition in a child’s development. Thus, the school organised one such competition for class 1 students on the theme ‘Animal Toon’ covering the broader theme of the month ‘The animal world’.

With immense enthusiasm and zeal the students participated in the competition and made it a treat to watch for all. Abiding by the rules of the competition, the innovative costumes and catchy dialogues mesmerised the judges and the audience alike. The novelty of ideas and the nuances of the costumes designed according to the theme made the event a grand success.

The audience also gained an insight about animal life through the colourful costumes and crafty dialogues of the little pupils.

Speaking about the event, Mrinalini Singh, Pre-primary Coordinator said, “The students dressed up in different handmade creative animal attires and brought the animal world alive. They also gave messages on the behalf of animals to care for them and protect them. It was a mesmerising experience seeing the children presenting confidently on stage.”
