Ashmita Singh Panesar (20) is a dedicated and ambitious student with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a passion for driving innovation through technology. At present, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Indraprastha College For Women, University of Delhi, she is laying a strong foundation in programming languages and software development methodologies.

Armed with expertise in Java, Python, and C++, Ashmita thrives on crafting intricate codes and unravelling complex algorithms, relishing the intellectual challenges this field offers. Not content with just excelling academically, she actively engages in coding competitions, regularly honing her problem-solving skills and embracing collaboration with peers.

However, Ashmita’s passion doesn’t stop at the world of algorithms and codes. Beneath the veneer of a dedicated geek lies a vibrant spirit fuelled by creativity and expression. When not immersed in the depths of Computer Science, you can find her dancing and acting, indulging in the arts that truly make her come alive. Having done multiple ad shoots, each with a unique story to tell, this talented girl is no stranger to the world of storytelling through visual media.

It all started due to a teacher at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. I wouldn’t have pursued Computer Science if it was not for her teaching skills. She nurtured my curiosity and boosted my confidence.

It is extremely interesting! University of Delhi is known for its educational excellence as well as multifarious opportunities and events. So, I am happy to be part of it. Besides, I am interning with an MNC to understand the industry and gather more knowledge about my chosen field.

I hope to pursue a degree in management abroad and pair it with my knowledge of computers. Later on, I will utilise my skills in the corporate sector.

It was an incredible journey. Apeejay provides exposure to holistic learning and focuses on all aspects of growth. As part of my school, I was in the student’s council from class V and it gave me a lot of confidence. In class XI too, I had the opportunity to become the president of the school. The next year, I was the Head of the Prefectorial Board. Overall, such leadership opportunities helped shape my personality for the future.
