Blossoming creativity: Celebrating nature’s artistry with fresh flower arrangements

Recently, Apeejay School, Model Town, hosted the Inter-house Fresh Flower Arrangement Competition, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students from all the houses. The event aimed to foster creativity and appreciation for nature through the art of flower arrangement.

The competition revolved around four captivating themes: From Bud to Bloom, Flowers of Transformation, Rebirth of Nature, and From Darkness to Light. Students displayed their artistic flair and ingenuity by crafting stunning floral arrangements using fresh seasonal flowers. Their creations, enhanced by decorative materials, reflected remarkable skill and originality, leaving the audience in awe.

The event was adjudicated by esteemed judges Mrs Monika Anand and Mr Gautam Gambhir from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. They meticulously evaluated each arrangement based on creativity, theme representation, and overall presentation. Both judges lauded the participants for their efforts and commended the school for organizing such a meaningful activity.

Mrs Priyanka Grover, the Officiating Principal of the school expressed her appreciation for the students’ dedication and emphasised the importance of such competitions in promoting environmental conservation, cultural values, and artistic talent. She congratulated the winners and encouraged all participants to continue exploring their creative potential.

The school’s Headmistress, Mrs Namrata Sharma, also graced the occasion and applauded the participants for their outstanding craftsmanship and innovative ideas. “This event was not just about arranging flowers; it was about weaving stories, expressing emotions, and showcasing individuality through the delicate artistry of floral design,” Ms Sharma said. 

The Inter-house Fresh Flower Arrangement Competition at Apeejay School, Model Town, provided a platform for students to showcase their talent and reinforced the values of teamwork, sustainability, and aesthetic appreciation, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
