Bill Gates encourages students to nurture innovations for equitable development

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates emphasised the urgent need for innovation in addressing contemporary challenges during his talk at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi). 

He highlighted the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), considering it the most revolutionary technology he has encountered. 

Encouraging students to harness technology for societal benefit, Gates expressed his broad perspective on India’s potential for innovation across diverse sectors, including health, agriculture, gender, and climate. The philanthropist emphasised the significance of fostering Indian innovation to address multifaceted issues, sharing insights during his keynote address on “Innovation for Public Good.”
