Apeejay School, Kharghar, organised an engaging and insightful workshop on ‘Start Early, Plan Strategically’ for students of Classes III to V. The session aimed to introduce young learners to the importance of effective time management, organised routines and goal-setting through age-appropriate and interactive activities.
The workshop provided students with an opportunity to understand how planning ahead and maintaining consistency can help them approach their responsibilities with greater confidence. Instead of presenting time management as a rigid concept, the session encouraged students to discover simple and practical ways to organise their day and make steady progress towards their goals.
A range of engaging methodologies was used to make the session informative as well as enjoyable. Interactive discussions allowed students to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas about how they manage their daily schedules. Storytelling further helped simplify important concepts, enabling students to connect the lessons with familiar situations from their everyday lives.
Audio-visual aids added an engaging dimension to the workshop, helping students understand the value of planning and prioritising tasks. One of the key highlights of the session was the Daily Goal Chart activity, through which students explored how to break larger responsibilities into smaller, achievable tasks. The hands-on exercise encouraged them to think about their daily priorities and identify realistic goals they could work towards.

The workshop reinforced the message that meaningful achievements are often the result of small, consistent efforts. Students were encouraged to cultivate habits such as starting tasks early, staying organised, following a routine and taking one step at a time.
By the end of the session, students had gained a better understanding of how strategic planning can make everyday tasks more manageable and goals more attainable. The workshop served as a valuable learning experience, equipping young learners with simple skills that can support them in both their academic journey and everyday lives.
Through such experiential learning initiatives, the school continues to nurture responsible, organised and goal-oriented learners who are prepared to approach challenges with confidence and consistency.
